The class will focus on Spanish vocabulary and

discussion, television programs, DVDs and songs to

has the option to take this course in the fall,
spring or both semesters.

This a beginning course in American Sign Language (ASL).
ASL is a visual-gestural language used by deaf
persons in America. Students will study this form of
manual communication along with finger spelling and
the specific structure of signing as a language.
Information on the deaf culture and ASL grammar will
be studied.
