major decision over
Sam Chilton of
Downey for first
place. “I knew I had
to get takedowns
against him,”
Davenport said of
Chilton. “I took him
down multiple times.
He was tough on the
bottom so I couldn’t
get back points, so
I tried to ride him
and when he got up I
took him back down.”
Domenico Togninali
(120) was second in
his division. Xavier
Guerrero
(220)competed in the
consolation round to
take third place in
his division.

and had to forfeit
five matches due to
lack of personel in
a dual team matchup
at Morelli Gym
against East Union
as they fell 48-15.
The JV squad was
also beaten 60-24.
