St. Mary’s Greg Bahr Improves Stockton With Comedy

Greg Bahr, the computer services assistant for St. Mary’s runs Bahr's Laugh Track Live series at Stockton's Matinee Video Lounge Bar & Grill in his quest to make stand-up comedy a regular fixture in Stockton.   He has brought in comedians, including Jeff Applebaum who has appeared on CBS-TV's the "Late Late Show With Craig Ferguson" and portrays funnyman Joey Bishop in a touring production of "The Rat Pack Is Back."

Greg hopes to someday put the shows on in a larger venue, but he's satisfied with the Matinee, where people can eat dinner at Cibo di Vino before the laughter begins. "It's a nice intimate room," Bahr said. "The audience always walks away having had a good time with smiles on their faces."
