In addition to teaching at St. Mary's, Mr. Koizna is an adjunct professor of biology at UOP

 

Mr. Kozina is one of the authors of a 1999 article entitled "The LysE superfamily: topology of the lysine exporter LysE of Corynebacterium glutamicum, a paradigm for a novel superfamily of transmembrane solute translocators." published in J. Microbiol. Mol. Biotechnol. 1, 327–336.   The article has been quoted as a supporting source in the FEBS Journal by Milton Saier, PhD. in an article entitled:  "The drug/metabolite transporter superfamily" and a second article entitled "Phylogeny as a guide to structure and function of membrane transport proteins" published in Molecular Membrane Biology in 2004.
