College Visitations

OPPORTUNITIES

Each year, nearly 40+ admissions representatives from a variety of colleges and universities visit Saint Mary’s. The purpose of a visit is to answer questions and present information regarding admission requirements, financial aid, housing, application process, and general items relating to the specific campus. We strongly encourage college-bound juniors and seniors to take advantage of these events as the information is most relevant to them.

Because we are at the mercy of the college representative's travel schedule, visits may be scheduled at any time during the school day or during an Advisory period.  It is important to note that students should not miss a test, quiz, or important assignment in order to attend a college visit.

Students must sign up via their SCOIR account (in the upcoming visits section/calendar) and should plan to register at least 24 hours in advance, after which time the visit will be closed for registrations.  Passes will be issued in class for students to join us at the time of the scheduled presentation.

Below are some useful questions to ask representatives during the presentation.
