Yearbook

The Cauldron yearbook celebrated its 102nd edition in 2021. The Cauldron is produced in our Publication Design class and provides students with an introduction to a wide variety of journalism, photography and business skills. Students get hands-on experience in journalism, photography, graphic and visual design, interviewing and networking skills as well as problem-solving and team deadlines. Publication Design is a UC/CSU approved elective and is held during G period. Students will have the opportunity to develop a yearbook theme based on their reflection of the school year. Students interact with other students of all grade levels and all backgrounds and interests as well as with faculty, staff, and coaches. The goal is for students to create a cohesive and family-friendly publication celebrating another great year at Saint Mary’s High School while learning to find their voice as writers. Students are welcome to learn more about joining the yearbook staff by emailing instructor Mrs. Jo Ann Kirby at [email protected] or stopping by Room 72 during G period.
