Co-curricular and extra-curricular activities allow students to develop leadership skills, pursue individual interests and just have fun! Nearly all Saint Mary’s High School students participate in some form of student activity.
 

CLUBS:

Art Club is a fine arts club that promotes art and school spirit.

 

Book Club promotes the joy of reading and engages students in diverse topics.

 

CROP (Christian Relief Outreach Project) is a Christian service dedicated to assisting those in need. 

 

Deaf Culture Club is a gathering of students who wish to embrace and bring awareness to the deaf community.

 

Empowering Young Women promotes the well-being of young women and develops leaders of tomorrow.

 

Environmental Club is a science club striving to develop solutions for today’s environmental problems.

 

International Outreach Club provides opportunities to work on global humanitarian projects.

 

Key Club is internationally recognized and is sponsored by Kiwanis and volunteers in the local community.

 

Multi-Cultural Club celebrates and recognizes ethnic cultures at St. Mary’s High School.

 

Photography Club is a fine arts club allowing students to enter competitions and attend field trips.

 

Pre-Health Club is a science club for students interested in pursuing careers in the health and medical fields.

 

Ram Alliance: In 2020, Saint Mary’s High School Ram Alliance was established as a forum for students to participate in "courageous conversations" around issues of racism, mental health, bullying and other societal issues of our time.
 
Salesian Leadership Club is a religion club that cultivates Salesian spirituality, focusing on the life, teachings and writings of St. Francis de Sales.

 

Science Club prepares students for the National Science Bowl.

 

STEM is a club that provides the opportunity to integrate science, technology, engineering and mathematics. 

 

Think Pink promotes awareness of breast cancer and raises funds to help find a cure.

 

 

 

ORGANIZATIONS:

Cabinet / Senate are students who serve as school ambassadors. Application required. Limited to seniors.

 

Campus Ministry facilitates retreats, plans liturgies and promotes spirituality. Application required. Limited to juniors and seniors. 

 

Cauldron Yearbook staff incorporates writing, graphic design, ad sales and computer skills to produce our yearbook. Application required.

 

Cheer performs year-long at sporting events and spirit rallies. Audition required.

 

CSF / NHS recognizes scholarship, character, leadership and service. Academic requirements.

 

Dance performs year-long at sporting events and spirit rallies. Audition required.

 

Green Machine is a school spirit club that promotes good sportsmanship at various sporting events. Fee required.

 

Kettle Newspaper is a student-run newspaper. Application required.

 

Link Crew creates positive role models who serve as mentors and student leaders to freshmen and transfer students. Application required. Limited to juniors and seniors.

 

Model United Nations prepares members to participate in simulated Model UN conferences.

 

Speech & Debate provides training and competitions for students interested in public speaking.

 

Student Council is a student government organization that plans social activities, conducts student body meetings and administers to the needs of the student body. Application required. Selected by election.
