At Saint Mary's High School, our diverse clubs and organizations offer students the chance to explore their interests, connect with peers, and make a positive impact. With options ranging from cultural and creative groups to academic and service clubs, every student can find a place to grow and thrive alongside like-minded friends.

ORGANIZATIONS:

Campus Ministry facilitates retreats, plans liturgies and promotes spirituality. Application required. Limited to juniors and seniors. 

 

Cauldron Yearbook staff incorporates writing, graphic design, ad sales and computer skills to produce our yearbook. Application required.

  

CSF / NHS recognizes scholarship, character, leadership and service. Academic requirements.

  

Green Machine is a school spirit club that promotes good sportsmanship at various sporting events. Fee required.

 

Kettle Newspaper is a student-run newspaper. Application required.

 

Link Crew creates positive role models who serve as mentors and student leaders to freshmen and transfer students. Application required. Limited to juniors and seniors.

 

Model United Nations prepares members to participate in simulated Model UN conferences.

 

Student Council is a student government organization that plans social activities, conducts student body meetings and administers to the needs of the student body. Application required. Selected by election.

 

Asian American Club Moderator: Enrico Atienza  

Description: The Asian American Club aims to create a friendly and inclusive environment for members while educating them about various aspects of Asian cultures. The club engages in a variety of activities, including games, guest speaker events, and service opportunities, to foster cultural understanding and community engagement.


ASL Club Moderator: Alex Leveille  

Description: The ASL Club is dedicated to spreading awareness and knowledge of Deaf culture. This club welcomes all students, regardless of whether they are studying American Sign Language, to participate in activities that promote cultural understanding and inclusivity.


ASL Honor Society Moderator: Alex Leveille  

Description: The ASL Honor Society recognizes and celebrates high academic achievement in ASL studies for high school students. As a nationally recognized honor society, this club provides opportunities for scholarship competitions, which may include art and ASL skill-based categories. There is a club fee associated with membership.


Aviation Club Moderator: Matthew Roche  

Description: The Aviation Club seeks to inform students about and foster interest in the field of aviation. The club provides students with opportunities to attend aviation-related events and participate in competitions, encouraging a hands-on approach to learning about aviation.


Black Student Union Moderator: Marcel Johnson  

Description: The Black Student Union creates a safe and supportive space for all students while addressing current events and providing valuable opportunities for members. This club also organizes fundraisers to support trips to college expos, emphasizing academic and cultural growth.


Book Club Moderator: Marianna Ortiz  

Description: The Book Club unites students who share a passion for literature. It offers a welcoming space for members to discuss books selected as a group and delve into broader literary discussions, fostering a love for reading and intellectual engagement.


Computer Science Club Moderator: Matthew Roche  

Description: The Computer Science Club enhances students’ understanding and interest in computer science through exposure to topics like coding, network infrastructure, and data storage. This club provides a foundation for students interested in the ever-evolving world of technology.


Cornhole Club Moderator: Julia Camera  

Description: The Cornhole Club offers a recreational outlet for students to enjoy casual games of cornhole, promoting a relaxed environment for socializing and fun physical activity.


Creativity Club Moderator: Tristine Zanotto  

Description: Creativity Club provides a space for artistically inclined students to express themselves through various mediums such as art, music, and poetry. This club encourages self-expression and creative exploration among its members.


C.R.O.P. (Christian Relief Outreach Program) Moderators: Sharon Piasecki & Margo Kozina  

Description: The Christian Relief Outreach Program works to provide support to the homeless and those in need. Collaborating closely with St. Mary's Dining Hall, this club organizes fundraisers and community service projects to aid in its mission of compassion.


Entrepreneurial Club Moderator: Manny Lopez  

Description: The Entrepreneurial Club focuses on educating students about entrepreneurship and investment. It collaborates with local businesses to provide hands-on experience and insights into the world of business, fostering future innovators and leaders.


Fashion Club Moderator: Jean Aguilar  

Description: Fashion Club encourages students to explore the history and art of fashion while engaging in hands-on learning experiences related to design. The club emphasizes creativity and fun in learning about various aspects of the fashion world.


Film Club Moderator: Michael Montijo  

Description: Film Club promotes a fun and supportive environment where students can explore and create film. The club empowers students to tackle important topics through filmmaking, while developing skills in editing, writing, and acting.


Hispanic Heritage Club Moderators: Cecilia Minter & Rui Sousa  

Description: Hispanic Heritage Club works to promote appreciation and understanding of the cultural contributions of the Spanish-speaking world. Through its activities, the club celebrates the diverse cultures, traditions, and histories within the Hispanic community.


Hot Rod Club Moderator: Coach Montijo  

Description: Hot Rod Club educates students about classic American cars and engages with local car events and businesses. This club fosters a community around a shared interest in automotive history and culture.


Investment Club Moderator: Jay Foronda  

Description: The Investment Club teaches students about the stock market and investing strategies, providing a foundation for making informed financial decisions. The club aims to instill an understanding of financial literacy and market dynamics.


Italian Club Moderator: Ester Bruno  

Description: Italian Club immerses students in Italian culture through activities related to Italian language, food, and traditions. The club offers a unique opportunity to experience and appreciate the richness of Italian heritage.


KEY Club Moderator: Rui Sousa  

Description: Affiliated with Kiwanis International, KEY Club is dedicated to serving the community through service projects and fundraisers. Members of this club participate in meaningful volunteer work, with an annual membership fee to support its activities.


Kindness Club Moderator: Lynne Monckton

Lego Club Moderator: Isabel Aquino

Neuro/Gray Matter Club Moderator: Patrick Keane  

Description: Neuro/Gray Matter Club, affiliated with Yale Medical School, introduces students to the field of neuroscience in an approachable way. The club strives to make the study of the brain exciting, fun, and accessible.


Outdoors Club Moderator: Bart Dykzeul  

Description: Outdoors Club encourages students to engage in activities like hiking and skiing, while organizing after-school trips to outdoor destinations, fostering an appreciation for nature and adventure.


Ping Pong Club Moderator: Matthew Roche  

Description: Ping Pong Club promotes recreational ping pong, giving students a fun way to socialize and develop their skills in this popular sport.


Polynesian Club Moderator: Atimoa Mafi  

Description: Polynesian Club showcases and teaches the customs, language, and traditions of Polynesian culture, celebrating its unique heritage and creating awareness on campus.


Red Cross Club Moderator: Felicia Rowley  

Description: In association with the American Red Cross, this club organizes blood drives and fundraises for disaster relief, providing essential community service and support.


Respect Life Club Moderators: Sharon Piasecki & Margo Kozina  

Description: Respect Life Club advocates for life by raising awareness about the unborn. Club members pray the rosary, volunteer, participate in the Walk for Life, and fundraise for supplies.


Spikeball Club Moderator: Enrico Atienza  

Description: Spikeball Club hosts tournaments and encourages physical activity through the sport of spikeball. The club promotes teamwork and friendly competition among members.


STEM Club Moderator: Gina Lasiter

Tabletop Gaming Club Moderator: Michael Montijo  

Description: Tabletop Gaming Club celebrates the world of tabletop games and teaches new players the rules. The club creates an inclusive and welcoming environment for all gamers.


Think Pink Club Moderator: Jacki Montijo  

Description: Think Pink Club is dedicated to raising awareness of breast cancer and funds to support research and the search for a cure.


Youth for Ecological Sustainability Moderator: Harpreet Bajaj  

Description: Youth for Ecological Sustainability promotes environmentally mindful habits in daily life. The club raises awareness about endangered animals and works to prevent habitat degradation.
