CROP (Christian Relief Outreach Project)

Saint Mary's High School operates an organic garden (grown and care for by students and staff) that supplies fresh produce to Catholic Charities every week. Additionally, CROP runs a clothing drive in January, a canned food drive in November, and a peanut butter drive in May. Peanut butter is a protein that does not need to be refrigerated and is easy to digest. Clothes go to St. Mary's Dining Room. Canned food and peanut butter go to Catholic Charities. We donate almost two tons of peanut butter every year. We also have homemade soup sales to raise money for purchasing sleeping bags for the homeless in the winter and purchasing peanut butter in the spring.

The Salesian Leadership Club cultivates Salesian spirituality, focusing on the life, teachings, and writings of St. Francis de Sales. The club works together to promote growth in holiness for the club and the entire campus. We foster awareness of Salesian saints and spirituality, especially with the work done by the Oblates of St. Francis de Sales. We also strive to bring his message of gentleness and authenticity to the greater community through service and outreach. From liturgies and prayer services to fun activities and volunteering, the club is open year round to all students so that they may be who they are and be that well.
